Here I sit in the midst of Hurricane Dennis
It just got upgraded to a cat 4 last night, and now it's path has taken a jog northward. They think Pensacola will take a direct hit, which totally stinks for them. That's also bad news for our area, because Pensacola got the worst from Hurricane Ivan last year, which wasn't as strong as Dennis is now. And Pensacola was about 50 miles east from where the eye made landfall - the exact same distance we are from Dennis' projected landfall.
...fun stuff. Hopefully, there won't be too many tornadoes. Prayers would be helpful.
