Yup, about an hour ago, the power went out.
The eye hasn't even made landfall yet, and we've only seen about half of the wind speed that this thing is about to drill us with.
Fortunately, God gave man the brains to invent a generator, so we have some limited backup power. And also fortunately, our cable connection is still working.
Hopefully our cable connection will last a little while longer so that we don't have to rely on just the weather radio for updates on the storm.
p.s.: sorry if I'm annoying anyone with these updates. I'm doing them more for me than for anyone else.
